Bamboe kinderspeelgoed | Vliegend hert

My toddler has been carrying this stag beetle around for days — the hand-carved bamboo is surprisingly smooth and durable. It's become his favorite toy for pretend bug hunts in the yard.

The bamboo texture gives it a lovely weight that feels sturdy in little hands. My son loves pretending it's crawling through our houseplants, and the carved legs look surprisingly realistic. I'm really impressed with how well it's held up to daily play.

My three-year-old carries this stag beetle everywhere, and I love that it’s carved from sustainable bamboo—no sharp edges or plastic. The legs have little joints that actually move, which surprised me for a solid wood toy. It’s already survived a few drops on the floor without a scratch.
