The slats drain water so effectively that my soap bar actually dries out between uses instead of turning into a mushy puddle. It’s been two weeks and the bamboo still looks clean with no mildew spots, which is more than I can say for any plastic dish I’ve owned.

Was a little skeptical about bamboo in a wet bathroom, but after two months the slats still look clean with zero mildew, and my soap bar is finally drying out completely between uses instead of turning to mush.

My last bar of soap turned to mush on a ceramic tray, but this bamboo dish has kept the new one firm for over two weeks now. The water beads right off the slats and the soap doesn’t sit in any puddle, which is exactly what I needed.
