The wool blend is genuinely soft, no itch at all even after wearing it all day. It's thin enough to stuff in a jacket pocket but still keeps my head warm on chilly mornings.

The RWS certification caught my eye, and the wool is softer than I expected—perfect for layering without any itch. The fit is snug but not tight, and it actually stays put on windy walks.

Wore this on a windy walk and my ears stayed warm the whole time, which is more than I can say for my old acrylic beanie. Docking a star because it's a bit itchy right at the forehead, but the wool blend softens up after a couple wears.
